I haven’t got a much progress to show you on my Christmas cross stitch as I’d like. The last couple of weeks have been very busy for me. But I have done some so here is where I was up to three weeks ago:
And compared to now:
I managed to get the swirls in the snow banks finished and moved up to filling on the gold on the first (and largest) bauble. I’ve only managed to do a small amount though. I was planning on getting much more done but alas life intervened.
Here are the links to everyone else taking part in our three week stitchalong posts:
Avis // Claire // Gun // Carole // LucyAnn// Kate // Sue // Constanze // Debbierose // Christina // Kathy // Margaret // Cindy // Helen // Steph // Linda // Heidi // Jackie // Sunny // Hayley // Tony // Megan // Catherine // Connie
Welcome to Clare
You should check them all out. We’re along different projects so there’s a lot of cool updates to see.
The gold is working up very nicely 🙂

This is lovely, are you going to make it into a decoration or a wall hanging?

I’m planning for it to be a wall hanging once I’m done. It is rather big! But I’ve never made one before so that should be fun!

Haha. There’s still A LOT to do but slow and steady wins the race right…. Or at least finishes….at some point!

Life certainly has a way of interfering with our fun, doesn’t it? Still, this is looking very festive.

Thank you. It’s a decent amount but I set myself a goal and didn’t reach it. I’m sure you know how that feels even if I did manage a lot.

Thank you. I’m so glad it’s looking good together. It’s always worrying picking colours and not knowing if they’ll work together!

Thank you so much! The plan is to make it into a wall hanging. I’ve never actually done that before but fingers crossed when I reach that stage it goes well!
