I have another cross stitch update for you and after months and months (and a mini hiatus to work on a different project) I have reached the end of all the white stitching on my Christmas project!
Here’s where I was last time:
I finished the lettering and the borders. That was the top of the piece so I have unfurled the fabric and you can see the whole thing now:
Ta da!
I do have to go back and add all the gold stitching which there is a lot of. So its not a full happy dance but definitely an exciting moment.
I’m moving on a couple weeks and all my cross stitch stuff is going with the removal company for about a week so I’m not sure what progress I’ll have to show you next time but I’m sure I’ll have something.
Here are the links to everyone else taking part in the stitchalong:
Avis // Claire // Gun // Carole // LucyAnn // Kate // Sue // Constanze // Debbierose // Christina // Kathy // Margaret // Cindy // Helen // Steph // Linda // Mary Margaret // Heidi // Jackie // Sunny // Hayley // Tony // Megan // Timothy // Catherine
We post the progress of whatever stitchy project we are working on every three weeks.
Finishing all that white stitching is a real landmark and worthy of a happy wiggle, if not a full happy dance 🙂

Mini happy dance !! I honestly thought it was already finished, the design works without gold but I do like the shininess of metallic fabric haha.

Thank you. A few very important things are missing without the gold such as the reindeer antlers. Right now they are just deer.

Wow! It is such a beautiful piece. I have enjoyed watching you stitch on the one. The gold will be a very nice added touch. I look forward to seeing how you finish this one.

Thank you! I have to say there have parts where I’ve really enjoyed working on it and other parts where I was fed up of it!
