25 Questions about me Tag

Okay so this is another tag, I seem to have done a few lately but in my defence they’ve all seemed really interesting. I got this one from Liz over at Travel In Retrospect. I seem to get all my tags from her blog she has the best ones!

1. What is your middle name?

Jade. My nan chose it, She’s Chinese

2. What was your favourite subject in school?

Difficult question. I wanted to be good at art and, while I definitely wasn’t bad at it, I was always best at maths and science which I enjoyed too.

3. What is your favourite drink?

Chocolate milkshake. I really don’t have a normal favourite, if I’m in a restaurant I’ll order fanta (and no orangina is not okay instead) but I’ll always pick a chocolate milkshake if that is an option (sadly it rarely is).

4. What is your favourite song at the moment?

Hmmm. Just one? Right now it might be I Only Lie When I Love you by Royal Blood or maybe Desperado by Rihanna

5. What is your favourite food?

Um. Pancakes? Chocolate cheesecake? Lemon curd cupcakes? Bread and Butter pudding? Honestly this could just be a list of desserts.

6. What is the last thing you bought?

As of writing this, I just bought a new blade for my cutter but I’m sure by the time I’ve posted this I’ll have bought some more books.

7. Favourite book of all time?

Again, just one? If we’re talking individual books, I might say Peter pan but series wise, Harry Potter, the Queens Thief or All For the Game. or maybe…..no. I don’t like this question. I’m not thinking about it anymore because it’ll just be a very long list.

8. Favourite colour?

Generally blue. Any blue. But specifically, a dark deep green. A Slytherin, forest, British racing Green.

9. Do you have any pets?

Kind of? I have a cat but because we moved he doesn’t actually live with us. He lives with my brother and Nan. His name is Benji but I think I only ever really call him monster. Here is a photo of him asleep that I stole from my brothers instagram.

10. Favourite perfume?

CK:One Summer.

But they change the scent a lot. I dunno if it’s every year or what. The version I have is amazing. It actually smells like summer….. But the last version I smelt (I check it every time I go through the airport) wasn’t so good. But their CK:One Red was very nice….

There’s normally one CK:One I like.

 

11. Favourite holiday?

I’m taking this to mean actual holiday/vacation rather than a date like Christmas. Because, I mean, Christmas is the only ‘holiday’ we really have. So vacation wise….. I have had a lot of amazing holidays. I’ve backed myself into a corner. I’m not sure I can pick. Most of them have been great. We’ve been on a lot of holidays joint with my cousins. So there’s been two or three families together and they were always fun. I’ve also been skiing and surfing and there have been a lot of GoKarts…..Sorry that’s a rubbish answer, but I can’t think of one.

12. Are you married?

Nope

13. Have you ever been out of the country? 

Yes. I’m trying to remember where….France (lots of times), Spain (a few times), Lanzarote (lots of times), Belgium, Netherlands, Italy (a few times), Ireland (lots of times), Malta, America (a couple times), Thailand…. I’ve probably forgotten one or two.

14. Do you speak any other languages?

I wish. I’m trying to learn Spanish but my will power is weak.

15. How many siblings do you have?

One. I have an older brother. He’s two years older than me and he has stolen my cat (see above).

16. What is your favourite shop?

I probably buy most things off of either etsy or Amazon.

17. Favourite restaurant?

My favourite type of restaurants are kind of posh pub food ones or maybe american/italian ones. I like things simple but yummy. If you try to put extra unnecessary things in my food I will cry.

18. When was the last time you cried?

I don’t remember? I normally cry like once or maybe twice a year but I honestly don’t think I’ve cried since I moved here two and a bit years ago? Oh, no wait. I did. Once. I dunno when it was though. A few months ago?

20. Favourite movie?

The first star trek reboot movie is badass. I’ve watched it at least a dozen times. I didn’t like the others but this one is awesome.

21. Favourite tv show?

Hmmm. I really don’t watch much tv. I liked game of thrones but I haven’t watched the last couple seasons because I’m waiting for the book. I mainly watch sports on tv. I do watch things like the Great British Sewing Bee though, that’s always good.

22. Pc or mac?

I like mac but they’re so ridiculously expensive. I don’t like them enough to spend an extra £1000 on the operating system. So pc by default I guess?

23. What phone do you have?

I have a Nokia Lumia. It’s a windows phone and is bright Green. It’s the best phone ever and I will be eternally mad that they didn’t kick off. It’s so much better than android and so much cheaper than apple but because no one bought them there aren’t any apps and because there aren’t any apps no one bought them and I’m sad. Also, you’d think it being bright green would help me not lose it so much but….

24. How tall are you?

5′ 6″. I thought I was 5’7″ for a very long time because I am one inch shorter than my Dad and he has always said he is 5’8″ but I found out I was 5’6″ and Dad explained away my confusing by telling me he lied….

25. Can you cook?

No. Simple answer. I mean theoretically I can cook a couple things but I’ve never really been well enough for that to be a thing.
