Most of the time that I’ve spent stitching since the last update has been on a secret project that I can’t share yet. But I did managed to completely finish the stitching on it which meant I had time to get a bit done on my main project this week in time to show you some progress.
So here it is last time next to this time:
And a closer up shot of the progress that isn’t swamped by all the yet to be used fabric:
It’s almost asking for snow! The swirly bits will eventually be stitched in gold but the letters will be left so that the red fabric shows through.
I also finished designing my Hufflepuff pin cushion, so I might have started stitching on that one for the next update as well as, hopefully, a lot more progress on this one. It’s the last pin cushion! This will mean all four houses have been done.
I don’t really need four pin cushions beside my sewing machine though…..
Here are the links to everyone taking part in the stitchalong.

We post updates every three weeks on whatever projects we are working on and is a great easy to stay motivated and also to take a peek at what other people are up to.
It’s coming along very nicely. Red white and gold will be just perfect.

Lovely and festive, and you got quite a lot done despite your other projects!

It was a bit of a blitz. I’m very aware that this will take me ages so am pushing to get lots done.

Well, it worked! I always enjoy it when there’s a big jump between before and after, and you can see what’s growing in the design.

Love it. The red fabric really makes it pop. We have had snow here at the higher elevations so apparently it worked even though the word snow is not done.
